What We Believe

God

We believe in one true perfect God, all knowing, all powerful,
all loving, without sin, and full of grace. This God is a Triune
God: Father, Son, and Spirit. The three are of the same
essence and nature but are distinct from each other as well.

The Bible

We believe in the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God. The
Bible itself is infallible. We believe that God inspired the
writers and still speaks to us today through the Holy
Scriptures.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus died for our sins. He died, was buried,
and He rose on the third day. We are saved by the grace and
the favor of Christ alone. The blood of Christ is the only way in
which our sins are forgiven.

In Jesus Christ, God is reconciling the world into a
relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit brings us to knowledge
and faith in Jesus Christ, and with this knowledge and faith,
we receive the gift of eternal life.

We believe that if you confess that “Jesus is Lord”, and
believe in your heart that He is the Messiah, the son of God,
you will be saved.

The Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, a community
of those that believe in him, and Jesus is the head of this
body. We are called to love our God and our neighbors. Our
purpose is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever.

The Sacrament of Baptism

We believe in two sacraments, those that were instituted by
Jesus Christ himself:

Baptism representing how our sins are washed away by
the blood of Christ as dirt is washed away by water

We believe that the sacraments help us better understand and
remember the promise of the gospel, the forgiveness of sins,
and the gift of eternal life.

The Sacrament of Communion

We believe in two sacraments, those that were instituted by
Jesus Christ himself:

Communion, where we acknowledge Christ as our true
sustenance for life everlasting

We believe that the sacraments help us better understand and
remember the promise of the gospel, the forgiveness of sins,
and the gift of eternal life.
